 Youth Leadership Camp

 
Target Group: Youth aged between 14-22 years)
Purpose: Systematic grooming of successor generation, Help youth to achieve their full leadership potential
Activities: Workshops to: Enhance innovative leadership

 

 

Organise a youth camp in order to foster and inspire young people to achieve their full leadership potential and offer them the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to create change. The goal is to help youth (age group 14-22) to develop desirable leadership competencies and behaviours, and make them resilient and able to build upon their developing strengths in a safe and caring environment. The duration of the camp will be 14 calendar days and consist of educational and social components, structured exercise and positive group interaction that will empower youth to address their adolescent concerns through shared insights and solutions.

 Highly skilled staff such as community educators, parents and leaders will play key roles in impacting a cycle of success for each youth. The use of simulation exercise and problem solving initiatives during the camp makes the learning specific and relevant to each adolescent’s personal life. The activities will focus on: Conflict resolution, Problem solving Techniques, Democratic values, Personal competence & responsibility, Respect for self and others, Cross-cultural communication and social skills.
