Secretariat

A rather modestly staffed secretariat runs the day-do-day activities of the forum. The secretariat is responsible for executing the programmes of the forum. It also organises and coordinates the activities undertaken by the forum, besides providing administration and logistical support. The Director supervises the day-to-day activities of the forum.

Presently, there are 20 core staff and a few other support staff who assist in various ways to the day to day running of the Secretariat.

The  forum where leaders could meet and exchange experiences with the view to improving their performance. No less worrying was the difficulty involved in gaining access to relevant data on issues of national, regional or global importance.
